The Town of GBM has three cemeteries.

The Old Methodist Cemetery, now no longer in use, can be found at the top of Church Road.  It was recently donated to the Town by the United Church of Canada.

The Patrick Cemetery is a small, active cemetery located just off the Bonavista Branch Line trail, down over the hill from the Municipal Offices.

The GBM Community Cemetery, our largest active cemetery, sits on top of the hill by the Municipal Offices.  

The local Cemetery Committee dissolved some years ago.  In the interim, the Town has maintained all three cemeteries and supports a Cemeteries Working Group, composed of volunteers, that is working towards setting up a management organization.

Donations towards the care of the cemeteries can meanwhile be made payable to the Town of George’s Brook-Milton which is holding such funds until the new organization is set up.
